You should now have the Cosmic Dark PDF! If you've completed the survey and you're all paid up, that is. It's marked as a preview, but honestly, it's pretty final. 

(To get the PDF, go to cosmic-dark.backerkit.com, then click Digital Downloads. If you have trouble, let me know.)

Please check your name, if it's in the book, and let me know if it needs changing. And I'd love to know what you think, especially if you play it. 

When that's done, I'll send it to the printer, and then there's packing and shipping. I'll charge for shipping just before the books are sent. We're on course to meet the January 2026 deadline I promised.

The stretch goals are going well: 8 out of 10 of them are written , along with 5 out of 7 of the stretch goals that didn't get reached but I'm including in the extra PDF. So I have scenarios from Thomas M, Jon Ingold, Bridgett Jeffries, Grant Howitt, Grant Hanrahan, Kieron Gillen, Alyssa Griffiths, Julian Simpson, Holly Swinyard, Ross Bryant, Jim Rossignol, Alex Roberts and Jared Logan.

They still need editing and laying out - and, honestly, I'm going to focus on getting the book out before I do that - so don't expect them quite yet. But I wanted to let you know I have them.

Just an early warning: I know some of the stretch goal authors have life issues. If one or two of them don't get their scenario done, I'll get other people to do a scenario. I've got a couple of names in mind and I think you'll be excited about them.

And I'm starting to think about future projects too. There's Murder at Clifftop Hotel, a storytelling game about murder; Dragon Dark, a dark fantasy game; and Alien Archaeology, a beautiful game about uncovering history and language.

Hello! I've been hard at work.

Me and Sarah, my editor, are doing a final check through the text of Cosmic Dark. When that's done, I'll finalise the layout, send out the PDF and get it ready to print. 

Five stretch goals are done - Kieron Gillen, Jon Ingold, Julian Simpson, Grant Howitt and Gar Hanrahan - and I've got drafts of many more to look through. All this needs laying out, of course.

And I'm starting work on the Glitch files and the other extras.

So, things are happening and everything's on track. More soon.

I've just sent everyone a BackerKit survey! If you can't find it in your email, you can get it here. Please fill it in now. 

If you're getting your name in the book or as an occupant of a Cryo chamber, I need you to complete the survey by Monday 28th July, so I can get everyone's name and finalise the layout. 

You can also get add-ons, including a collection of all the unreached stretch goals, which I've called Beyond Reach.

Once the layout is done, I'll release an early PDF, do a final read-through, then send the book for printing. We're definitely on track to release by January 2026, as promised.

Over the next few weeks, I'll start sending you stretch goals as they come in from the authors. I've had some of them already and they're looking great. I'll use BackerKit to send you these...so again, please please please fill in the survey.
