Cosmic Dark has funded! Thanks so much for your support. Here's a little video.

We reached £74,393 by the end of the campaign, which means we get stretch goals from Alyssa Griffiths, Kieron Gillen, Julian Simpson, Jeeyon Shim, Thomas M, Bridgett Jeffries, Jon Ingold, Grant Howitt, Gar Hanrahan and Ella Watts, plus a print upgrade. And I'll talk with the authors whose stretch goals we didn't reach and see if we can bring their scenarios to light in some way.

You'll get a survey from BackerKit in two or three weeks time. Please fill this in as quickly as you can, especially if you're getting your name in the book! That's because I need to finalise the text.

Apart from that, I'll get my head down and work on the book, so expect an update from me about once a month or so.

And I know I keep saying this, but thank you so much for your support. I'm a small creator and I can't do this without you.

There are just seven days left of the Cosmic Dark Kickstarter, so here's a little video to say thanks for your support. I recorded this first thing in the morning: watch how the coffee wakes me up as the video goes on!

You could think about upgrading your pledge! There are some really fun things in the upper tiers - the Glitch files, an encoded transmission - so think about whether you want them. And, if you want your name in the book, think about changing to The Full Package or higher.

And have another look at the add-ons. If you want an extra copy of Cosmic Dark or a hardback copy of my books Cthulhu Dark or Stealing Cthulhu, you can get those. And there's a whole selection of strange little games I've written over the years.

Hello! We just hit 1000 backers, which is incredible. 

Lots of you wanted me to upgrade the printing! So I've added a new stretch goal: when we hit £60,000, the Cosmic Dark hardback will have sewn binding and high-quality paper. 

To help get us there, I've included new add-ons, including my games Darkenwood, A Taste For Murder and The Tavern, and my book Play Unsafe. Please add them! It'll help us towards that stretch goal.

Finally, I went to a convention this weekend, and the artist Lee O'Connell was drawing instant watercolours. So I had to get him to do an Extracsa ship heading into the Glitch. The final version is beautiful - you can see him drawing it below - and, if you're backing at the Cryo level or higher, it'll be part of the Glitch Files.

Please share this link to the Cosmic Dark Kickstarter wherever you can. That means Facebook pages, Discord forums and anywhere else you can think of. Again, I rely on you spreading the word about Cosmic Dark.

And I've got a question! The Kickstarter is doing so well that I'm wondering whether to upgrade the printing: for example, to give the Cosmic Dark hardback sewn binding. What do you think? Is that something that matters to you?

New add-on: An extra book

Thanks so much for your support for Cosmic Dark. I'm blown away.

I've added a new add-on, which is an extra Cosmic Dark book. If you do want extra copies - for your gaming group, maybe? - you can add them on now.

And, if you do, it gets us closer to Kieron Gillen's stretch goal, which I really want to hit!

I'll announce more stretch goals over the weekend. One of them is someone whose work I love and, honestly, I can't believe he's agreed to write for Cosmic Dark. Amazing. More tomorrow.
